Hoy es un día perfecto. ¿Sabes por qué? Porque hoy hay tarta de postre. Efectivamente, me gusta comer dulces. Por eso estoy tan contento.
Yo vivo solo y nunca compro tartas o dulces. Como postre solo un día a la semana. Todos los miércoles, ceno en casa de mis padres y mi madre hace una tarta.
Me gustan las tartas grandes, pero mi madre solo hace tartas pequeñas. Ella siempre dice “esta es una tarta con pocos ingredientes, pero con mucho amor”. El azúcar está muy rico, pero es malo para la salud. Por eso, ella hace tartas pequeñas. Creo que es una buena idea: es un equilibrio entre vida dulce y vida sana.
A veces, intento hacer postres en casa. Normalmente, busco recetas por internet. Pero siempre hago algo mal. Casi siempre olvido un ingrediente. Y, a veces, pongo la tarta en el horno, voy a ver la tele y me olvido de todo. Dos horas después, tengo un postre negro en la mesa de la cocina.
A sweet life
Today is a perfect day. Do you know why? Because there’s cake for dessert today. Indeed, I love eating sweets. That’s why I’m so happy.
I live alone and never buy cakes or sweets. I have dessert only one day a week. Every Wednesday, I have dinner at my parents’ house, and my mother makes a cake.
I like large cakes, but my mother only makes small ones. She always says, “This is a cake with few ingredients but a lot of love.” Sugar tastes really good, but it’s bad for your health. That’s why she makes small cakes. I think it’s a good idea; it’s a balance between a sweet life and a healthy one.
Sometimes, I try to make desserts at home. I usually look for recipes on the internet. But I always do something wrong. I almost always forget an ingredient. And sometimes, I put the cake in the oven, go watch TV, and forget about everything. Two hours later, I have a burnt dessert on the kitchen table.
