Ernest Hemingway was an American writer and journalist who is considered one of the most important and influential writers of the 20th century. Born in 1899, Hemingway was a prolific writer who produced a wide variety of works, including novels, short stories, and non-fiction.

Hemingway is known for his simple and straightforward writing style, as well as his themes of bravery, honor, and the human condition. Some of his most famous works include the novels «The Old Man and the Sea,» «For Whom the Bell Tolls,» and «The Sun Also Rises,» and the short story «The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber.»

Hemingway was also an adventurous and well-traveled man, and many of his works are set in exotic locations around the world. He served as a journalist and ambulance driver during World War I, and he later traveled to Spain to cover the Spanish Civil War. Hemingway died in 1961 at the age of 61.
